Heritage Stone Access has recently been working on Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral documenting the glass work designed by Piper and Reyntiens in the sixties.
In the summer HSA worked at Canterbury Cathedral where a full inspection of the stonework of the west towers was carried out using rope access techniques to provide both daily reports and a comprehensive final report including pictures and analysis on the state of the stonework. Work also included the re-fixing of loose pinnacles, conservation work with lime on the statues, and drops down the towers with both the Architect and the Head of Conservation allowing them to observe the stonework directly.
Heritage Stone Access Ltd. is a specialist stone masonry, stone restoration, conservation and rope access company based in Worcester. All our stonework is done at the highest standards by cathedral trained masons and carvers, and our rope access technicians are IRATA trained level 3 workers with a wealth of experience nationally and internationally.
